Under 16 girls win the league

With the seasons finishing on a PPG ruling it is unfortunate that teams haven’t been able to finish the seasons the way all would want, playing football. However our U16 girls team have been awarded the title and rightly so, they have been superb this season and have handed out some huge beatings on their way to the title. All at the club have been blown away by the girls success, joining the club this season was a step into the unknown for all. For the girls, parents and coaches it was a new club and for the club it was our first season of female football…it is safe to say it has been a huge success. Claire and Rob have coached these girls for their footballing careers to date and this season has been testament to the hard work put in by all on and off the field. Well done all.

As a club we would also like to thank main sponsors Newport Bus who have been outstanding in supporting our club as a while and especially the women side of the game. Without your support our female clubs would not have been able to get off to such a good start. We would also like to thank VW sinclair group for their continued support, Mousetech and also the David Cotterill foundation who have all shown their support for the girls/ teams.
